Home remedies for angina include garlic, lemon, basil, honey, grapes, onion, citrus fruits, etc. Angina is a chest pain that in severe cases leads to heart attack or paralysis of a portion of body. Angina pain can not be taken casually as it causes fatal cases of cardiac problems. One, who is a patient of angina, needs to be extra careful. Home remedies help in the initial stage of curing or relaxing angina pain. But in case the pain increase, one needs to take immediate medical consultation. Chest pain and breathlessness are the main symptoms of angina.

  • Lemon: The simplest home remedy for angina patients. Just try to take one lemon daily in your food. You can squeeze it over the salad or have it as fresh lime water. Lemon avoids accumulation of cholesterol, thus preventing any sort of blockage in the blood vessels. It is a natural deterrent and angina patients should include lemon in their daily diet.
  • Garlic: It is famous world wide as the best cure for all sorts of heart ailments. Taking 2-3 cloves of raw garlic in the morning goes a long way in naturally curing angina over a period of time. Like lemon, garlic needs to find place in your daily diet chart to be most effective.
  • Basil Leaves: Popularly known in India as “tulsi” leaves, this remedy is very effective in many ways. But it is one of the genuine cures for angina. It is best to chew a few leaves of fresh basil leaves in the morning. If you do not get fresh leaves, then make a juice of basil, adding a few spoon and warm water.
  • Honey: The effect of honey can not be underestimated as an herbal cure for angina. Lemon squeezed in warm water with a spoon of honey, taken empty stomach, helps to clear blood vessel and reduces accumulation of cholesterol. Moreover it also helps to control fat.
  • Grapes: They are known to strengthen heart. They help to reduce risk of heart attack, angina pain and increased breath.
  • Onion: Raw onion juice is little harsh on taste, but if taken in morning, helps to instantly bring down cholesterol level. So, you need not worry throughout the day.
  • Citrus Fruits: Apart from lemon that is high on citrus acid, you can also take pineapple, orange and grapes to fight against angina on a daily basis. Vitamin C helps to control cholesterol level.
  • Parsley: It has been recognised as one of the most essential home remedies for treating angina. It can be taken in the form of herbs and fresh leaves as well. It is advised to take parsley tea, as it has both taste and aroma, and is beneficial for treating angina.

Have a healthy diet and go for regular small walks. This will help you fight out angina pain. Pls provide more information for decreasing cholestrol and diet for Angina patient which are taken daily in home
