Home remedies for fibromyalgia include usage of garlic, ginger tea, carrot, cucumber, beetroot, spices, vegetables and fruits, coconut water, camphor and arthcare oil in different forms. These are some of the products which can help cure fibromyalgia to a great extent. If proper care is taken, it can be cured completely. Fibromyalgia is a syndrome wherein one experiences extreme pain and fatigue. Some of the symptoms of fibromyalgia are swelling, sleeping disorder, numbness and headaches.

Fibromyalgia is usually misunderstood as a disease, however it is a syndrome which leads to body pain, says National Fibromyalgia Association. It can also turn into a chronic condition, according to Mayoclinic. There are a numerous reasons for fibromyalgia pain which can be biological, social or psychological as well. It is an invisible pain which cannot be seen but only felt. So, no one other than the person suffering can actually understand what the pain is like.

Fibromyalgia can be due to improper sleeping patterns, stress and excessive drain of energy. Generally, people between the age group of 20-50 experience fibromyalgia. However, it cannot be exactly categorized into any age group as such but as per the studies, teenagers are more prone to fibromyalgia. This can be because of the excess stress and the life style patterns. Youngsters usually want to be competitive and up to the mark and tend to take on more activities than their body can handle. It also results into immense body pain, headaches and fatigue.

Certain home remedies are explained below. If these remedies are followed properly, they can do wonders in curing and getting rid of fibromyalgia completely. They are very effective and have shown notable results. Just try any of these and the best part of it is that you won’t experience any side effects.
• Ginger: Intake of ginger helps you get relief from pain and inflammation. The intake can be in the form of ginger tea or else you can include in your daily meals as well. One can also mash a piece of ginger; boil it well in the water and have at least twice a day. You can add salt to make add a bit of taste.
• Garlic: Garlic helps improve the immune system, so make use of it in your daily meals. This would help curing fibromyalgia.
• Camphor: Camphor helps in tightening of muscle and thus reduces the pain. Reduction in pain increases overall efficiency of our body as well. Many people suffering from back aches should try this. One can either use it in the form of oil by just applying the camphor oil on the muscles or bones and can relieve the pain or else it can also be eaten in other forms like coriander or anything that constitutes to the mint family.
• Exercise / Yoga: One should involve into regular exercise or yoga at least 3 times a week. This helps you release the mental stress from your mind and make you more relaxed and stable. It is a must for people suffering from fibromyalgia as it also helps the movement of bones and muscles of the body.
• Vegetables: Green vegetables are a must, as they provide the necessary ingredients to the bones and muscles, thus making them stronger and healthier. Intake of vegetables like pumpkin should be increased. Generally, cabbage, brinjal, potatoes and spinach should be avoided, if possible. Try and have lot of green salad. You can use lemon juice for taste.
• Liquids: Try and increase the intake of liquids such as vegetables and fresh fruit juices. Liquid helps release of toxins from your body and cleans the system.
• Arthcare Oil: Arthcare oil is an herbal treatment and can be applied on the joints. It helps relieve the joint pains, back aches and muscular pains. This ointment strengthens the bone tissue and penetrates into the body tissue faster. Since it is inflammatory, it gives immediate relief. It also helps remove the stiffness.

There are few things which should be avoided by people suffering from fibromyalgia:

Cigarette smoking and intake of alcohol should be avoided or best would be to quit the habit, if possible.
Avoid eating spicy and fried food
Caffeine and sugar should also be avoided as far as possible.
Avoid taking naps during day time or staying up late at night.
