PAM, i WAS TOLD ONCE BY A HAIR DRESSER THAT LICE CANNOT STICK TO OILY HAIR. so MAYBE APPLY A GOOD DOSE OF COCONOTU OIL TO YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER\'S HAIR. mASSAGE IT WELL INTO HER SCALP AND HAIR, BUT DO IT GENTTLY. tHEN COMB IT THROUGH WITH A NIT COMB.

pam , coconut oil alone cannot rid your granddaughter off lice.
for a simple home remedy, mix 3 tablespoons of coconut oil with one tablespoon of neem oil. warm, massage and leave on for about 10 mts, then wash shampoo, and comp hair with a wide toothed comd when hair is wet. the lice will come off. try this process twice a week for the first two weeks, and then once a week for foure consecutive weeks, to break the lice lifecycle. hope this helps. good luck

Is it true that virgin coconut oil can use as straightening ingredient because my nanny told me once that in their province they use it as a hair conditioner and also it straightens your hair but i doubt on it. Is it true?

Hello,

I would suggest taking Hair Vitamins and Biotin you can purchase them from Wal-Mart. Also, a dermatologist may be able to prescribe you something. Hope you get well. God Bless

Coconut Oil

I just used coconut oil for one hour on my hair following a hair highlighting. I do not like the texture of my hair at all since using it. I\'ve also just read where it penetrates the hair shaft, which somewhat scares me, as I\'ve been unable to get it out so far. I like the shine, but I don\'t like the feel for my hair. I\'ve lost the fluffiness. Any feedback on whether this coconut oil will wash out and what would be best to use if so (without killing my color).

Try Essential oil of Rosemary. You can find it with YoungLiving.com, or any health food store around you. I used it when I lost my hair after I gave birth to both of my children at the fourth month. Rosemary helps grow hair back quickly. Hope that helps.

My hair was really long and it started falling out and cut my hair short. I started taking Wheatgrass and in one year my hair has grown seven inches. Google Wheatgrass and view all the good stuff it will take care of.
