Hello! I think unrefined coconut oil is really just another term for the more popular one which says, virgin coconut oil (VCO).

Exactly as it says, this type of coconut oil is unrefined or untouched or unadulterated, making it the ideal type of coconut oil with all the tremendous health properties locked in. Just my two cents.

I am in the process of changing the fats and oils in my diet. I am educating myself about organic raw fats and oils. How can a refined oil be organic? I just bought USDA organic Coconut oil from a Health Food store, but it is refined and now I feel cheated. I guess I need to buy virgin, pure or unrefined.
Thank you so much. I have enjoyed reading your information very much.
