INTERNAL APPLICATIONS OF TEA TREE OIL

This is and excellent article. Great info read for the first time here. Thank You. I\'m wondering how to administer Tea Tree Oil for \'rupturing the cysts\' that some viruses hide in as described. It would seem to be an internal application, but how much and how often? What are the best methods for internal usage?
                      Thanks Again!

Hi, thanks for writing this article, i found it very informative and i especially liked how thorough it was.
My cat has ear mite and severe chemical medications are not only not working (or only working for a short time)but even aggrevating the problem further. I\'ve used a drop of organic Lavender oil in an organic base oil which gave her some relief but i would like to add teatree oil as it is an insecticide among many other things-Cheers Tina.

drinking tea tree oil

I accidentally drank some tea tree oil and noticed my LYME Disease symptoms became better. Is it safe to take a few drops on the tongue?

Would it kill parasites that live inside the cells?

Will it take the enamel off my teeth or cause other damage?

Thanks,

NO DON\'T TAKE TEA TREE OIL INTERNALLY.

Every article I find on tea tree oil warns you to NOT take this internally.

\"Avoid taking tea tree oil internally. It is toxic at small doses and can cause potentially fatal central nervous system depression (excessive drowsiness, sleepiness).\"

\"Keep in mind, however, that you should never take tea tree oil orally as it can cause a host of issues including, but not limited to diarrhea, depression, difficulty walking, drowsiness, muscle weakness, impaired immune system, loss of coordination, and muscle tremors.\"

We have taken medications off the market for doing less than this... Keep tea tree oil as a topical medication! It can work well in toothpastes or mouth washes as long as it\'s NOT ingested.

Please do not ingest tea tree oil.

I take T-Tree oil and it helps me.

Dear Margie, I have a condition that the Drs. cannot diagnose as to cause. The consequences include a blood disorder, creepy crawly feeling in my head, ears and eyes. The drs tried to treat the blood disorder, LGL, with methotrexate but as it was not helping the other symptoms of the virus. I took myself off it and began to take T-tree oil internally since I had nothing to lose --the Drs. told me the blood disorder was likely to be fatal over time. I am happy to say that it helped a lot. Overtime my lymphocytes came back to normal. I did not have any side effects, since I took t-tree in low doses, one dropper 2-3 times a day in a juice (orange or alovera). I stopped taking it for over two years, but have started again, since other blood symptoms have showed up. It truly helped me without side effects and I hope it will help you too.

Tea tree oil , lavender for cats.

I have a cat as well and when we got her she was about 3 weeks old and dying from ring worm. She had it literaly frm her head to her lil paws. We took her to the vet and they basically looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to save her life. Anyway, they treated her with some very intense drugs and she lived and is a very happy kitty now a year and half old. We treat her ear mites with olive oil (compressed the really good stuff) a couple of drops in the ears and it needs to be done for a few weeks and when they reappear which they will because their eggs can live for more than a year, reapply the olive oil. I looked into things such as tea tree oil and lavender to treat her illnesses. The problem is that what is toxic to us and non toxic to us is not necessarily so for cats and dogs. There are things you can give dogs and not cats and vice versa. Everything I checked into said the same thing. Cats can die from these two herbs and some others as well. Using small doses simply means that the cat is getting a smaller dose of somethine lethal to them. Humans ingesting tea tree oil is fine as long as the tea tree oil is pure. It\'s not the tea tree oil that is toxic to people it\'s the other great stuff that is in it before it is processed for it to be safe for consumption. Please understand that humans and animals have systems that work differently. As well as cats, dogs , monkeys, lizards etc. Even with humans what works for one person may not always work on another person and or that person may have an allergy to an herb etc. There is no such thing as generalised treatments when it comes to herbs. Be very careful please, especially with your pets. They really have no way to tell you if something is wrong or not. Just like humans sometimes they don\'t know.

You may want to try mixture of 1:1 tea tree and mustard oil on the warts. Also chant Om in Sidhha asana with visualization : energy moving from top of head down and focusing on genital area and washing away warts as if its dirt ... repeat till warts r gone. A longer cleansing mantra : Breathe deep; hold exhale and chant \" Ommm Namoh Bhagavate\' Vasudevaya..aaa\" w/ humble heart and surrendering mind to divine is reccomended as well. Good Luck.

Bee Stings/Tooth Ackes and Tea Tree Oil

I was in California swimming in a friends pool, when I came out of the pool I was stung by a bee. I usually swell up and it\'s quite dangerious for me. But my friend Jill went in the house and got Tea Tree oil and put it directly on the sting. I couldn\'t believe it. The pain stopped and there was no swelling at all. Now instead of medicin I carry Tea Tree Oil with me when I travel.
Also good on tooth ackes. I\'ve had a sever tooth acke and put Tea Tree Oil on a piece of cloth and bit down on it. Being sure to spit out any saliva that accumulated. My tooth is much better now.

I don\'t think you used enough tea tree oil. when we had lice, I used 1 oz. tea tree oil into 15 oz. shampoo, and shampoo\'d daily. Washed all linens every few days in hot water, put all toys in plastic bags for two weeks. Sprayed my son\'s backpack and carseat with teatree and water mixture and we got rid of lice for good. Did you use the tea tree oil in the combout as well?

not everything natural and recommended is safe

Chinese alchemists worked for centuries to figure out a way to get the body to absorb what they were certain was the secret to longevity, a natural substance that was central to their treatments. After much diligent work, research, and testing, they were finally able to turn it into a salt that the body could absorb. The substance was mercury, which we now know is toxic to the brain and other organs. It\'s probably what killed the first emperor of China.

For years in the 1920s and \'30s, tens of thousands of people actively sought out spas, special water preparations, products from their doctors and popular cures and remedies that would deliver the beneficial healing properties of... RADIUM, a naturally-occurring radioactive element now known to cause cancer and radiation sickness.

Don\'t assume that people in charge of your healthcare know what they\'re doing, especially when there is almost no testing or regulation on natural substances like tea tree oil. Remember opium, arsenic, mercury, radium, cocaine, and tobacco were all introduced as products for your health.

Tea tree oil is NOT fine to ingest

I agree with almost everything you\'ve written here, thanks for your pointers. However, the following is FALSE:

\"Humans ingesting tea tree oil is fine as long as the tea tree oil is pure. It\'s not the tea tree oil that is toxic to people...\"

In fact, the toxins in tea tree oil are not from the processing, they are a natural component of the oil itself. Tea tree oil contains terpenes (as in turpentine) which are toxic to humans, too. We have big, efficient livers compared to cats, so we can handle a little bit. But how much turpentine would YOU like to drink, really?

We would all like to believe that pure, natural substances are always harmless, but remember that digitalis, arsenic, uranium, mercury, animal and insect venoms, petroleum, hemlock, and hundreds of plants and mushrooms are toxic to us for one reason or another, despite being 100% natural and unprocessed. Sometimes it is part of their defense against insects, sometimes they contain a substance that our body uses in place of what it needs. Carbon monoxide is readily taken up by our blood, replacing oxygen, for instance.

When you\'re talking about organic apples vs. ones sprayed with lots of pesticides, then all natural is best; but in the broader sense, \"natural\" doesn\'t guarantee something is safe or healthy.
