Heating honey at high temparatyres (over 110 deg C) increases the hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) content, which in case alters the taste. HEated honey may not be harmful for you but tastes different. I would suggest that honey be added right in the end by mixing with luke warm water.

i notice that if honey get to a solid point, which takes a while..it doesn\'t have that funny taste. because i had been using solid honey that just had nto been used in a long time and turn to crystals and it then i switched to regular and it tasted awful. then again when i was using the honey crystals it was with a hot water dispenser. then when i used regular it was in a microwave. maybe its the microwave...those are not good nor healthy to use on food any how...look it up..microwaves are horrible for you.....

In response to :Please tell the benefits of black tea, does it have the same benefits as of green tea? what is the difference
between black tea &green tea?

Green tea has 6 times the antioxidants than black tea does, also less caffeine. However most teas are good for you.

Can not input on the honey, I do not add it to my green tea, like it the way it is.
I LOVE honey by itself , yummmmmmm!!!
