IN iceburg lettuce or any kind of lettuce, is the yellow lettuce any good for people? Does it have any nutritional value? Is it any better or worse than dark green lettuce?

I have ruled out lettuce in my diet all together and have replaced it with cabbage and spinach. I can feel the difference already. My over all health has improved and my weight loss has kicked into overdrive. I also feel like I am getting ripped off a lot less by food venders who charge up to $8.00 for a salad that is 85% or $.40 worth of lettuce (usually white or brown besides the rip off).
