My favourite is turmeric tea. You will need raw turmeric for this. Just peel and grate about an inch or raw turmeric (it looks exactly like ginger – just slightly yellow). Bring a cup of water to boil and the grated ginger. You can also add a little pepper to this. Boil for a minute and then strain it. You will feel your sinuses clearing when you drink this tea!

Foods rich in Vitamin C and Omega 3 fatty acid are all good for sinus congestion. This includes citrus fruits, fishes like salmon and green vegetables. Fruits such as apple, pear and tomato are also good.
