Bay leaves are not listed by the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in their list of toxic foods for animals. They are not poisonous, but the sharp edges can lacerate the digestive tract if accidentally ingested. So, it is advised not to feed bay leaves to dogs or any other pets.

They can be poisonous for dogs so please be careful. I know bay leaves avoid ants from entering the area and all but still better to take the right precautions
