Jaundice leads to gallstone, anemia, and infection in the liver. Castor leaves are known to improve the functioning of the liver. It also clears bilirubin, which causes the yellowish discoloration of nails, skin, and eyes. Using the fine paste of tender castor leaves early in the morning helps reduce the secretion of bile during jaundice.
