Vitamin A is vital for eye health. It won’t help in improving eyesight over-time. However, Vitamin A is an essential component in preventing certain eye degeneration and in the development of eye nerves.

My cousin suffered from night blindness because of vitamin A deficiency. She hated eating vegetables and my aunt didn’t realize that her daughter was not eating any vitamin A rich foods. Once she started having eyesight issues, my aunt took her to the doctor only to realize that she lacks vitamin A. Thankfully she has started eating vitamin A rich foods like carrots, butternut squash, sweet potato. My cousin says her nightblindness problem is less severe than before. I hope that it gets cured completely!
