Can ginger powder be used for turmeric and ginger tea?

Freshly grated ginger is the best option if you want to receive all the benefits of turmeric ginger tea. If you are staying at a location where you cannot find fresh ginger, then may be you could try with ginger powder.

I tried using ginger powder but the tea doesn’t taste as good. The infusion is very powdery.
