Can I use parsley instead of cilantro?

Parsley and cilantro closely resemble each other in appearance. However, when it comes to the taste, parsley is slightly bitter. Nevertheless, you can use parsley in place of cilantro for garnishing. To suppress the somewhat bitter taste of parsley, you can use sugar or honey. You can also add basil or oregano to your dishes when using parsley as a substitute for cilantro.

Cilantro expires quickly you see, so I prefer parsley

Parsley has mild flavor and cilantro gives you a spicy dash so you can choose accordingly keeping in mind the expiry issue
