I don’t know of any person being hit by burdock but yes there are apparent studies that claim this. Burdock is a part of a detoxification kit, within which, other ingredients like riboflavin (vitamin B2), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), dandelion, cascara sagrada, turmeric, burdock, milk thistle, guarana extract, green tea, Echinacea purpurea, potassium, proprietary blend, creatine monohydrate, alfalfa leaf, slippery elm bark, reishi mushroom, uva ursi leaf, cayenne pepper, licorice, peppermint leaf, red root, schisandra, and sorbitol. So maybe yes, burdock can cause hallucinations. You can read this up – https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3622534/

It is a side effect of having too much burdock tea. Having more than 3 cups or even a stronger dose can make you feel dizzy and leave you with blurred vision.
