Yes it will. My daughter troubled us for months with her sleep routine. So nocturnal, she use to wake up at 3am and we had to take her for a drive or what not. My grandmother suggested the essential oil technique to us. So we bought lavendar essential oil, diluted it, and applied it on our chest. We we held her in our arms she would actually fall asleep soon. Sometimes we also wiped the excess oil on her blanket. The smell of lavender oil is soothing and help babies to calm down. Believe me it worked. Chloe still woke up a early but it was around 5-6am.
