Sugar present in honey raises the insulin level in our body naturally which helps in getting restful sleep. Take 1 tbsp. of honey before going to bed and it will help in getting you sound sleep, by raising tryptophan, a compound which helps in getting a healthy sleep. It also helps in the secretion of a hormone named melatonin, which is important for healthy sleep and maintaining the blood sugar level.

I give this to my son every night. So at first I didnt know it aids in sleeping because my son had irregular sleep patterns due to certain reasons but now I make sure that he has honey everytime before he goes to bed
