Candida is a fungal infection that affects the skin and grows in moist places like under the breast, in and around the vagina, and sometimes in the mouth too. It causes a rash and itchiness. I have faced this problem, and I skipped wearing a bra whenever possible until the rash disappeared. Also, when I wore a bra I made sure it wasn’t underwired or too tight. I also applied a cool compress to the affected area at least once every day until cured.

I am glad someone asked such a question on forum. My cousin sister suffers from this. As a curative measure, she wears loose cotton clothes and applies clotrimazole twice a day. It has helped her, probably, it will help you too!

Yeast infection develops under the breasts if there is a warm environment all the time. This usually occurs when you wear figure hugging clothes and the sweat keeps sticking to the skin causing irritation.

Start with maintaining basic hygiene like always drying up after shower, changing clothes after exercising so that the sweat does not manifest into infections. Use anti-bacterial products like shower gels and soaps to shower and wear loose clothes that allow passage of air.
