There are a number of ways in which you can get rid of skin tags. I got rid of mine using the skin tag removal kit available for purchase online as well as in stores. You can use the device to cut off the bloody supply to the base of the tag with a tiny band. This is known as ligation. With the blood supply halted, the cell will die and the tag will fall off, typically within 10 days. Give it a try. But, I wouldn’t call this a permanent solution. If it is reoccuring that often, maybe you should consider taking medical assistance.

Skin tags are a sign of aging. My father started getting a few of them a few months ago. I did a quick research and learnt that it’s a harmless growth. So, I didn’t worry a lot about them. He has been applying crushed garlic on them, apart from skin tag ointments that are available in plenty online and in stores.

My brother made use of Apple cider vinegar to get rid of his skin tags. He soaked a cotton swab in the vinegar and then placed it over the skin tag. He then wrapped the section in a bandage for 15 to 30 minutes and then washed the skin. He did this for a couple of weeks, till the acidity of the vinegar burnt the tissue around the skin tag and it fell off. He hasn’t got it since.
