How do you know if arugula is bad?

Arugula is to be acquired fresh, and it should be consumed within two days of its harvesting as it would taste better and be potent. If it has lost its crispiness and become soggy, it indicates that the arugula is bad. The leaves would become dark and look wet and would smell spoiled and nasty, and even the peppery smell would be sour.

Like you can clearly make out by the state of it. It’ll look dead like or not fresh

Any vegetable or fruit when not fresh will start to smell bad on its own

Rotten arugula loses it crispness, smells bad (I mean more bad than its usual smell), and turns dark greenish to yellowish in color.

I purchased arugula 3 days ago and stored it in a refrigerator. Now it smells bad. Can it get spoiled within 3 days?
