How does baking soda cure cancer?

Baking soda incorporates an alkalizing effect. As cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment, baking soda could help in reducing the acidity level, hence preventing a tumor from growing. However, there is no conclusive scientific evidence that baking soda can prevent cancer from developing as the disease can still develop in a healthy tissue having a balanced pH level. Cancer cells are difficult to target as they are found in acidic areas but are alkaline inside.
