There are several reports that discard cranberry juice or its supplements as a cure for UTIs. However, research points to the presence of an ingredient in cranberry juice that prevents bacteria from adhering to the walls of the bladder and thereby, possibly helping in preventing urinary tract infections. The recommended dosage for treatment of UTIs is reportedly 4 to 10 oz a day.

There is no science based evidence to this. Medications can do the job faster in my view
