Like any other exercise, tai chi is also a physical activity. While exercises like aerobics and strength training aim at fitness with rigorous moves, tai chi is more known for its slow movements in all the directions. This helps in preventing falls as you age because tai chi trains you enough to balance and control your body. You also ultimately end up controlling your mind. This helps you manage your stress better.
