I actually got this amazing remedy from an Indian friend. Olive oil is used by many Indian people for massages and in fact, Ayurvedic doctors are prescribing olive oil massages for so many conditions likeswelling, arthritis, sore muscles, and muscle sprains. You can use it this way: use 1/2 cup of the extra-virgin olive oil for a body massage. And to make it relaxing and soothing, I mix in a few drops of rose essential oil. This helps to improve the aroma and also helps me relax!

Lavender essential oil is great for sore muscles and you can use some avocado oil as a carrier oil to improve the effect. The measurements I use are half a cup of lavender oil and 1 teaspoon of avocado oil. Try it, you’ll love the effect and your sore muscles will go away!
