How many tamarind pods is considered a daily dose?

I make tamarind pulp by boiling the pods and straining the flesh into a bowl. I use around 10 pods that last me a week. I mix them in my curries and chutneys. So that makes about one and a half pod per day. Of course, if you eat it raw, your teeth may feel weird but adding salt to it will be like a treat.

You can have about 20-30 grams of tamarind a day. Simply add it to dishes that require lemon juice. Not all dishes but curries, soups or sauces. I’m sure you will enjoy.
