You can take up to 3 grams of powdered turmeric root to treat pain. For anti-inflammatory purposes, one should consume anywhere between 500 to 1000 milligrams of curcuminoids per day. Though turmeric does not cause any major side effects, it may lead to diarrhea and dizziness, if consumed in excessive amounts.

Add it to 60ml milk and gulp down before sleeping. Best for cough
