Wasabi has a strong flavor and can cause short-lived burning sensations. Wasabi intake must be less than 100 grams as overeating may lead to gastrointestinal problems, diarrhea, nausea, acid reflux, etc. Wasabi has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and potential anticancer properties and it is always used in small amounts for consumption. People with a stomach ulcer or gallbladder problem should consider a doctor’s recommendation before consuming wasabi.

Hey no. Keep an upper limit. It causes congestion. I actually had a lot of it once and turned out that my sinuses started worsening.

I once ate a glob of wasabi becasue of a dare and had a bad burning sensation in the gut. The nasal passage was burning too! But that lasted only for a few minutes. Later that evening I suffered a bit of stomach pain too. After taking some medicines I was fit again the next morning.
