Figs contain a good number of carbohydrates. Soak the figs in water overnight and consume them the next day. Six figs, which constitute approximately 30 grams, should be soaked and eaten in two parts during the day. The results will be visible in 2-3 weeks. Dried figs can also be soaked in milk overnight and eaten the next day.

Dont know about weight gain but you can just wash them and remove the top stem but in some cases some also prefer to remove the skin.
