Fennel seeds are crushed, forming approximately one tablespoon of the powder that releases aroma and flavor. The seeds are kept in a cup, and hot water is poured. The grains are then allowed to steep in hot water for 7-10 minutes. The strained tea can be topped with a bit more of hot water before being served.
