Bromelin is one super-nutrient that actually helps in lung detoxification. The center of a pineapple fruit contains the most amount of bromelin. So I highly suggest that you prepare your own fresh pineapple juice by including the center portion of the fruit.

I have read that people usually drink pineapple juice to increase lung elasticity. I guess it is best to drink fresh pineapple juice every day.

I don’t like pineapple juice or the fruit by itself because it causes a weird tingling sensation in the throat. I love to have cooked pineapples though.

Don’t consume cooked pineapples as they lose most of the nutrients upon cooking.

I have been suffering from lung infection and my naturopath adviced me to drink about 400-500 ml of fresh pineapple juice every night before going to bed.
