I love having tomato chutney with doritos. You can make it easily with a handful of ingredients like urad daal, chilies, pepper, tomatoes and some more spices. So here’s the procedure- heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and add urad daal to it. Keep stiring till it becomes brownish. Now add dry red chilies, cloves, black pepper and ginger to the pan. Once you see the spices mixing, addfinely chopped tomatoes and salt. You can also add a pinch of asafoetida. Saute till the tomatoes soften. This will take about 7-10 minutes. Once that is done, let the mixture cool and then blend the paste with half a cup of water in a blender.

Very nice recipe. I’ll try it! Also, tomato chutney tastes amazing with south Indian foods like dosa, idli and medu vadas.
