Plant basil seeds in 50-degree temperature soil and place it in a place where it gets 6 to 8 hours of sun daily. Keep the soil moist and drained, and insert the seeds about ¼ inch deep and 10-12 inches apart from each other. Once it starts growing, pinch out the flower heads. Remember to water it freely during summertime.
