Wash the area using lukewarm water and let it air-dry or wipe gently with a soft cloth. Avoid using wet tissues as the fragrance or alcohol/chemicals in it may aggravate the soreness. Dry napkins may hurt and remain stuck to the skin, further increasing the pain. Wearing tight clothes and sitting for too long may also worsen the situation. Avoid medicated creams; you can apply petroleum jelly.

Avoid keeping that area dry by using natural moisturizers. Im saying natural ones because the fragrant ones can cause more harm like reactions basically leading to rash or some skin abnormalities

Petroleum jelly is the safest option but you need to choose a proper brand here as well
