I am a diabetic 58 yrs old, could burdock root be used with insulin/Janumet?

The compound inulin present in burdock is responsible to lower blood sugar levels in the body. I think it is not a good idea to use it along with insulin.

I am assuming you are taking insulin supplements already, so it is better if you check with your doctor before adding burdock to your regular diet.
