I take meds for bp, but it's still not low enough. How do I start with beet juice?

Hi, while researchers have concluded that beetroot helps in reducing high blood pressure, it would be advisable that you continue with bp meds nonetheless. It is too risky to stop them midway. You can always use both your regular medication and Beet root juice, without having to stop either of them.

While researchers have said that beet root juice helps in reducing bp, there is 4–5 points drop in only Systolic Pressure(upper one). There is no indication that it has any effect on Diastolyc pressure(lower one). So, please don’t stop your regular medication. If you want you can have beet juice but don’t stop your bp meds. Perhaps, a combination of the two could help lower it. If it doesn’t, it would be advisable to seek medical assistance.
