Using flaxseed oil for cooking is not recommended as it is high in fatty acids which when heated up, can turn the healthy fats into harmful ones. Though flaxseed oil is suitable for salad dressings, dips, and marinades, it is unsuitable for cooking, baking or deep-frying. However, it can be added to foods after they have been cooked.
