Gotu kola can help reduce anxiety as well as help in treating insomnia. One should consume 500 mg of Gotu kola extract twice a day for up to two weeks. In case of extreme anxiety, the dosage can be increased up to 2000 mg. Professional guidance must be taken before consuming it for stress and anxiety.

My brother-in-law had insomnia, which further led to anxiety, frustration, and stress. After consulting a naturopath, he started eating gotu kola. It helped him greatly. His condition started improving. He was too finicky about his dosage because the naturopath had said that not taking it in right proportion might lead to over-sedation. So, gotu kola may be a good food for anxiety, but it is important to have it in the right dosage.

Yes, it is better to know how much Gotu kola you need for your sickness. Also, I read somewhere Gotu Kola medicines are not supposed to be taken by someone who’s under 18.
