Apricots are rich in iron, minerals, phosphorus, and silicon. Pregnant women are advised to consume 30 mg of iron every day to avoid anemia which can lead to drastic consequences in pregnancy. Apricots are rich in retinol, and they also meet the calorie requirements of pregnant women to promote healthy growth of their infant. Pregnant women need 300 calories for the more robust growth of the fetus, which is satisfied by apricots. Hence, it is perfectly safe to consume apricots during pregnancy
