Parsley promotes weight loss temporarily by permitting the body to lose the excess water stored. Parsley tea is considered to be mildly diuretic which proves beneficial in flushing out water from the system. Water retention syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, excess sodium in the diet, and some pregnancy medications lead to high water retention. But do not forget to consult your healthcare provider before starting anything new.
