I too wondered about this. I mean how can you get oil from gram, maize, and barley. I am following this question.

I guess it is just pressed or crushed under pressure.

Most of these oils have been made by pressing them in some solvent. The solvent is then separated from the extracted oil through, mostly, evaporation. What is left behind is the pure oil.
