Swelling or pain in the leg is the most prevalent symptom. The pain usually starts in the calf region and can feel like cramping.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) tends to develop if you suffer from medical conditions that can affect your blood clots. And aside from the most known symptoms, it can also happen if you are stationary for a long time, such as after a surgery when mostly you’re confined to bed rest.
