Half a spoon or little more would do. My grandmother always made us have cumins if we had stomach aches or any bloating issues. I still follow it but the quantity varies. Sometimes I just chew cumin for stomach ache if I am out of powder. The quantity is usually 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.

When I suffer from constipation, I roast cumin and then ground it. Add 1 teaspoon of this grounded cumin in water and add honey to taste. I have this drink on empty stomach. It is the best remedy for constipation.
