You know Asian food actually consists of whole black peppercorn. And to be honest, I really don’t like the taste because it is so strong that it diverts your taste buds from the flavor of the food to the astringent taste of black peppercorn.

You should grind black pepper and use it as it adds subtle flavor. Whole black peppercorn may just be too strong on the tongue. It also causes allergies at times
