How can you even expect fasting to help you get in shape when you have almost no nutritional component going in your body?

When you are fasting, you reduce your calorie intake. As a result, your body starts using energy conservatively. It will act like a miser. Ultimately, the fat will not be lost at the rate at which you desire it to be but it will bring along a lot of health conditions as a complement including muscle loss, dizziness, and low blood pressure. So, never even think of losing weight faster by fasting.
