Walnuts are significantly rich in omega 3 fatty acids. A type of such acid, called as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is known to be the lubricant of the brain, meaning it has significant positive effects on the brain. Walnuts also help in improving memory and preventing brain-related diseases such as tumor and brain cancer.
