Brown bread can be responsible for weight gain as it is high in calories. A single slice of brown bread contains 130 calories and 2.5 gm of fat. There will be complications while baking as whole wheat or brown bread retains the bran and germs of white flour. Whole wheat bread can also spike blood sugar and LDL (Low-Density Lipoprotein) levels rapidly.

Even if people use this whike dieting you cant argue that it lacks the nutrients you expect out of bread.

Adding to that, its is not at all gluten free. There is a misconception that you can use it during gluten free diet
