Elderberry could be unsafe if its leaves, unripe fruits, stems, uncooked fruits are consumed. Elderberry is safe until it is cooked properly. Its antioxidants work very well for a better immune system, but its antioxidants may also exacerbate autoimmune conditions such as lupus, arthritis, and multiple sclerosis.

Wont that make the fruit in all unsafe as well? Since the whole plant originates from the seeds
