  2. It is not advised during pregnancy as it can harm the babies.
  3. It also reacts with medicines so always consult with a doctor if you are on medication of any kind.
  4. It can further aggravate the allergic reactions of people who face allergies due to carrots and celery since they are from the same species.

With reference to the 2nd point above, it is true since my wife was advised the same thing when she was pregnant by her doctor
