Garlic and honey, when consumed together, can become toxic and harm the liver. An excess amount of both can cause many side effects such as heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, and bloating. Both can lead to severe long-term gastrointestinal problems. Excess honey might result in insulin insensitivity. It may also cause nausea and vomiting.
