What does bilberry fruit taste like?

Bilberries are a member of the blueberry family, but they are more juicy and have more intense flavors. The smaller and darker bilberry is also softer. Its taste is lesser known because the fruit grows much deeper in the wild and this makes it difficult to harvest.

This is a very delicate fruit which makes it juicy and when you eat it, its like your brains go out! So intense.

Bilberries have intense flavor of blueberries. It is acidic and sour. Only after cooking it with sugar it turns deliciously sweet.
