Basil seeds are added to dishes because the depth of flavor and taste provided by them is simply unmatchable. Also, the essence of basil remains in the food for longer durations unlike most of the other substances added to prevent the food from getting rotten or losing its taste. Marked as spam

Basil is a delicious addition to any dish, and many other components are made from it (pesto to name one). In addition to the flavor benefits, there are many health benefits to basil. It has both significant amounts of Vitamin A, Vitamin C. Personally I like to use it in combination with other herbs to both bring more flavor to whatever dish I make – a personal favorite is to mix it with tarragon. Marked as spam
